Southern Georgia
Moms & Babies
Georgia Peach Maternity Home is a supportive residence for first time mothers who are:
Pregnant or recently given birth
Facing housing challenges, like staying with strangers, in shelters, or without a stable home
Unsupported, isolated, or unsure what to do next
Wanting to give their baby a healthy start — but don’t know how or where to turn
Doesn't need a perfect story. Just need a place that sees your worth — and helps you rebuild
We prioritize first-time mothers most affected by Georgia’s maternal health crisis, especially Black mothers and those in rural communities.
Why Georgia Peach
Maternity Home?
We offer something rare in Southern Georgia.
A Thoughtfully Designed Facility
Our home is a licensed 11-bedroom residence, formerly a personal care home. It offers private bedrooms, shared living spaces, group dining, and room for healing. Moms live together in community — supporting each other through a unique season of life. The home is fully equipped for daily programs, group meals, care coordination, and baby care — in a setting that feels more like home than an institutional shelter.
Extended Support Timeline
Most programs end at birth. We support moms from pregnancy through six-tewelve months postpartum — because recovery, bonding, and growth don’t stop at delivery.
Wraparound Services, Under One Roof
Housing is just the beginning. We provide prenatal and postpartum care navigation, parenting education, emotional wellness, job and life skills, and more — all integrated into daily life.
A Culture of Dignity and Respect
At Georgia Peach, we meet every mother with trust, compassion, and care. Our home provides structure and support — not control or judgment.
Mothers are treated as partners in their journey, with a voice in decisions, and the space to grow into confident, capable parents.
Culturally Grounded, Trauma-Informed
Created with Black mothers and rural women in mind, our model is rooted in empathy, cultural understanding, and healing from historical harm.
We Local to Where the Gaps Are
We’re one of the few residential maternity programs outside metro Atlanta — serving southeast Georgia, where access is limited and the need is urgent.
We provide the tools, trust, and structure for first-time mothers to take their next step — with strength, stability, and support.
This is a model rooted in care, not control — and it’s working. One mother, one baby, one strong start at a time.
Every detail is designed with intention.
